Google Search Console Performance Case Study

I started working with Karen in November of last year. My website was only 8 months old at the time. We did most of the SEO work and coaching calls between November and January. It is mid-June and I am pleased to say that I am now ranking on page one of Google! Last week, I booked my first client who found me on Google. I have already gotten a return on investment 3 times over from booking my first wedding that found me because of the SEO work Karen put in. I fully believe this is the best investment I could have made for my company. We have continued to work on SEO through the pandemic and I am excited to see the results once everything returns to normal for the event industry!

Project Details

Client had a relatively new website that was only ranking for the brand name and irrelevant terms. The website was set up in Google Search Console and Google Analytics, with the core pages and a selection of blogs optimised. We coached Victoria on how to blog to gain the right search traffic.

  • Client: Luxe Atlanta Events
  • Category: SEO Strategy, Technical SEO, Optimisation of under-performing content.
  • Approach: Consultancy & coaching based, with us implementing technical fixes and the initial content optimisation
  • Website: https://www.luxeatlantaevents.com/

The Backstory

The LUXE Atlanta Events website was relatively new and only ranking for the brand name and a selection of irrelevant terms.

Action

We identified the main keyword and optimised the home page for it.

We then identified blog posts subjects from keyword research and optimised these for topically relevant keywords.

Project Duration

We started on this project in July 2019, and we’re near completion now (June 2020).
